As part of an updated sustainability initiative, the Colorado Convention Center hired me to update their waste systems. This included stickers for their bins & signage for paper towel composting. The Center is home to frequent large scale, international events, so the signage needed visual cues for non-english speakers. It also needed to be easy to read & digest for visitors operating in a fast-paced environment.
Trash bins are admittedly not the sexiest project, but I think these are super cool — as they’ve proven to be a successful tool for waste management AND are used by [a high percentage of the] 900,000 visitors the CCC sees per year — probably my most visible project to date.
